On the eve of Donald Trump becoming the 47th president, the autopen pardon of Anthony Fauci went through. It proved the swamp will always protect its own.
This autopen pardon of Anthony Fauci is the final insult to every American.

Yes, that Anthony Fauci. The man whose name is forever tied to lockdowns, shuttered churches, forced masking, and years of COVID panic. He was the face of “Trust the Science” that kept changing its tune. He flip-flopped more times than anyone could count. And let’s be clear about one thing. Anthony Fauci was first handed the world’s biggest megaphone under President Donald Trump.
We cannot pretend otherwise. One of Trump’s most damning missteps was putting Fauci in front of America and making him a leading member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force. When the virus hit, Trump gave Fauci the platform, the microphones, and the cameras. Fauci used that spotlight to speak out of both sides of his mouth — one day calling masks useless, the next day demanding we mask our toddlers forever. He turned millions of scared Americans into hostages of shifting guidelines and “emergency” powers.
FACT CHECK: Fauci and the COVID-19 Vaccine
Ran NIAID for nearly 40 years
Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases from 1984 to 2022 — highest-paid federal bureaucrat.
Pushed Operation Warp Speed
Under Trump, Fauci supported the rush to develop and roll out COVID vaccines at record speed.
Promoted mRNA technology
The first COVID shots (Pfizer and Moderna) used new mRNA tech. Fauci championed their safety and effectiveness from day one.
Downplayed natural immunity
Rarely acknowledged that prior infection could offer strong protection — helped drive sweeping mandates.
Flip-flopped on mandates
Initially said mandates were unlikely. Later defended mandates for health workers, students, and employees.
Side effects minimized
Under Fauci, risks like myocarditis in young men and the reality of waning protection were brushed aside.
NIAID holds vaccine patents
His agency holds rights to vaccine tech. He claimed no personal profit, but critics call out the conflict.
Pushed censorship of dissent
Fauci supported cracking down on doctors, scientists, and everyday Americans who questioned mask rules, vaccine risks, or alternative treatments. Big Tech and the government worked together to silence opposing voices — all while Fauci told the public to “trust the science.”
Retired with massive pension
Fauci stepped down in 2022 with what’s believed to be the biggest federal pension ever — about $350K a year — plus lucrative speaking gigs.
Translation: He made the vaccine his legacy, backed censorship to shut down dissent, and walked away richer than ever. Meanwhile, Americans live with the fallout — and Fauci never spent a day behind bars.
While America Paid, Fauci Cashed In
It was a catastrophe for small businesses, working families, churches, schools, and mental health. While normal Americans wondered how to keep their lights on, Fauci basked in the glow of endless media attention and cashed his checks as the highest-paid bureaucrat in the entire federal government.
And now? After everything he put this country through, the final insult: the Biden administration quietly lets him walk away, legally untouchable, thanks to a mechanical pen and a staffer pressing a button. That’s the thanks we get for doing everything “right” while the elites made up the rules as they went.

Ex-Biden aide Neera Tanden admitted under oath to the committee last month that she had controlled the former president’s autopen for nearly two years, but denied any manipulation or abuse, asserting that she was following a system established by previous administrations.
Zients’ involvement marks a new twist and, according to the Times, shows that while Biden was allegedly involved in late-night meetings to discuss the preemptive pardons, it was his chief of staff who gave the thumbs up.
“The emails imply that (then-White House counsel, Ed) Siskel and Mr. Zients relayed what Mr. Biden had said to the assistants, who then documented it,” the newspaper of record writes. – Red State
The Autopen Scam: Not a Signature of Leadership
As Biden’s handlers boxed up the last pieces of his failed presidency, they used an autopen. A literal robot signature to push out a flurry of pardons. No personal accountability, no public statement, no facing the voters or the victims. Just a quiet stroke of a machine to make the biggest pandemic tyrant in American history a free man for good.
The irony is almost too much to stomach. Fauci spent years lecturing the nation about “following the science,” yet he never followed his own advice. One minute churches were super-spreaders but BLM protests were fine. One week schools had to stay closed but bars could reopen with the right restrictions. He kept changing the story while people lost their livelihoods, their businesses, and their loved ones.
Now he does not even have to hire a lawyer to defend himself. Biden’s team made sure that Fauci will never face a single consequence for the damage he caused. He will keep his pension, keep his speaking gigs, keep his book deals, and keep his smug grin while families who trusted him struggle to rebuild what he destroyed.
Trading the Epstein Files, Ukraine, and Rosie for Fauci in a Cell
If the full Epstein client list dropped tomorrow, unredacted for the world to see, I’d probably cheer. If the Ukraine grift dried up overnight and our money finally stayed home, I’d throw a party. And if Trump signed an order to yank Rosie O’Donnell’s citizenship just for the fun of it, I wouldn’t shed a single tear.
But I would trade every single one of those outcomes for one moment of real justice — Anthony Fauci sitting in a prison cell for the rest of his life. Let him feel the same fear, isolation, and helplessness he forced on millions who did nothing but try to survive a crisis under his incompetent thumb.
I do not care about an apology or a redemption arc. What this country deserves is accountability. Let the next smug government bureaucrat think twice before lying, censoring, and punishing anyone for daring to ask questions. Let the next generation know that once, someone like Fauci actually paid a price for the damage he caused.
This Is What the Swamp Looks Like
The autopen scandal is not just about Biden’s laziness or incapacity. It is about a system that covers for its worst players until the very end.
When Obama used the autopen, people rightly called it out as dangerous. A president should not be able to delegate away the single most powerful check the Founders gave him, the signature. Now it is not just used for generic invitations and thank you notes, but for pardoning insiders who should have been behind bars years ago.
Nobody elected an unelected staffer to play president. Nobody elected a machine to sign away justice. But that is what they did for Fauci. They made sure he will never answer for the chaos, the lost jobs, the shuttered churches, the muzzled children, and the businesses that will never reopen.
The Lesson We Should Not Forget
The lesson is simple: the swamp always protects its own. The swamp will bury the Epstein files if they have to. They will keep the Ukraine money flowing as long as they can and will prop up their favorite talking heads and make sure they keep their platforms. Their motto is “whatever it takes,” except they fail to hold the real villains accountable.
One of Trump’s biggest failures in his first term was trusting the wrong people and letting a slippery little bureaucrat like Fauci turn a public health crisis into a self-serving empire. If Trump wants to show he has learned anything, he should make sure that mistake is never repeated.
We should remember exactly who handed Fauci the stage in the first place. And we should remember who slammed the door on any chance at justice by letting a robot pen scribble away the crimes.
I would let the Epstein files go dark, watch Ukraine keep their dirty cash, and even wave goodbye to Rosie O’Donnell if it meant seeing Anthony Fauci live out his final days in a concrete box. That is the one headline this country deserved but never got.
We should never stop demanding it.
